Engine Performance problem
1996 Chrysler LHS V8 Front Wheel Drive Automatic 95000 miles

My LHS was running hot from lack of water, or water not circulating through the water pump. I am sure the water pump is out. But the question I have leads up to this point. While adding water to the cooling bottle the engine turned off smoothly. Now it will not start.......could i have gotten something electrical wet, could it be timing chain, could it be a crank sensor went out like that,,,could it be a automatic shutoff if the vehicle got too hot........Could it be a fuse......Please help me with This chrysler Lhs
