Engine Performance problem
1996 Chrysler Cirrus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 12000 miles
My 96, 2.5 cirrus has been trouble ever since I steamed the engine.
I have replaced the cap, rotor, plugs.
Checked all intake fittings and sensors and it is still shaking and feels like it wants to stall.
I also have to floor it to get it up to speed, especially on a hill.
I have almost givin up!
Any ideas?
You may have "moved" one of the vacuum lines maybe during the washing and/or during re-assembly of the intake plenum. Check the vacuum line from the EGR solenoid to the back of the intake manifold, from there it goes to brake booster.
