Electrical problem
1996 Chevy Silverado V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 140000 miles

hi there i have a 1500 silverado and am in England and desperately need help.

the gear indicator speedo and rev counter work intermittently and the ses light is constantly on.
the truck pulls away in second gear with no kickdown.
was pointing towards solenoids in gearbox which ive changed but fault is the same.
i am going to Arizona in a few days and would like to get the parts i need to fix it.

does anyone have a difinitive answer please.

replace the vehicle speed sensor on the transfer case
