I have a 2001 Audi S4 biturbo quattro 2.7L V6 woth 95k miles. The speedometer was jumping around like a sound mixer needle near and above my actual speed. Dealer told me that the whole instrument cluster needed to be replaced. My questions is that as I was searching thru the internet, I found several sites claiming that the speedometer could be repaired on the cluster rather than replacing the whole thing. Is this a good idea? What's the best way to approach this issue? David
