Hello i im working on grandparents Buick Electra Limited with the 3800.It Has 110,000 Miles And When Running it has a popping noise coming from intake sounds like popping pop corn.I replaced plugs just to be sure but no better.Can U Please Give Some Advice.

Removed Front Valve Cover And Had Broken Exaust Rocker Arm Bolt.Replaced Rocker Arm Bolt And Works Fine.Thanks I Hope This Helps Others

i Have Another Question Before The Rocker Arm Bolt Broke The Car Was Always Hard To Start When Its Cold If The Engine Is Hot It Will Crank Fine,I Was Hoping that The Rocker Arm Might Have Had Something To Do With It,But U Still Have To Spin It Over 3-4 Times For 5-6 Seconds And It Finally Cranks.I Done A Tune Up On It After I Replaced The Rocker Arm Bolt Which Included Plugs,Plug Wires,Oil,Oil Filter,Fuel Filter,PCV Valve,and Air Filter Still Has To Spin Over 3-4 Times Before It Will Crank Any Ideas Or Test That Might Help Fix This Problem.

Hi , sounds like fuel pump relay , gm uses the relay to turn the fuel pump on for 3 seconds when the key is turned on , after that it uses oil pressure to keep the pump on , have someone at the rear of car turn on key dont start just turn on listen by fuel tank for pump , if you dont hear it replace relay. If you do check fuel presure .
