I have a 1992 buick road master that when i check the oil it has a smell of gas. what can be the cause and what could be done to fix it?
If you have a smell of gas in your oil and the oil seems a little thin, the problem could be a spark plug fouled out and gas that is not burned in forced past the rings, into the oil pan area.
Pull the pulls to see if they are all firing or just go ahead and change them. I use Bosch plugs. Other brands have been trouble, even if they are new. You might want to do a full tune up.
