I hear it is likely the oxygen sensors, is this something I can do my self being handy but not a mechanic? How would I replace both sensors and how would I reset the check engine light?

there are many reasons for the check engine lamp to be commanded on. be sure you know the reason why
before you attempt repairs.
the light can be reset with most commercial scan tools.
