i have a 92 buick roadmaster, it has 121000 on the odometer. the motor was replaced with a 94 LS1. When the car is idleing it has no oil pressure, when the rpm's are up the pressure is ok. I took it to a shop and was told that was normal. is it normal for oil pressure to drop to zero? I changed the oil and the pressure is ok for about a week and then it started acting up again. Could this be a bad pump or a sending unit? I was told the mileage on the replacement motor has 64000 on a fresh rebuild. It was taken out of a wrecked 94 Impala SS. I would welcome any advise or words of wisdom.
