2004 Buick Rendezvous Speedometer

2004 Buick Rendezvous 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 52000 miles While driving on interstate, speedometer suddenly went from 70 mph to zero mph. Stopped after 5-10 minutes, turning engine off and entered store. When returned and started engine, speedometer worked OK again. Next after starting car the speedometer did not work. stopped, turned engine off, restarted, but still did not work for total of maybe 65 miles. Next day registered 5-10 mph at approximate actual speed of 60 mph for 25 minutes.. Stopped for about two hours. Returned to car, started engine, and when driving about 60 mph speedometer registered 35-40 mph. The Buick has less than 52,000 miles. The ODOMETER works fine. THANK YOU!
