2004 Buick Lesabre 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 59000 miles

After delivering a chair for an elderly aunt who just had surgery for lung cancer, I found that I couldn't close the trunk afterwards. It was placed in the lock position at the store, but I can't seem to get it out of this position.
