Shakes or Wobbles problem

Hi, I have an Audi A4 2.0 FSI and it makes a ticking noise on start up, when it gets a little warmer the noise goes, but i can feel it reverberate through the clutch and the gear stick. It also feels like it wants to cut out when running on idle, not all the time, some days it runs above 1000 rpm, some days it drops. Plus it takes a while to start when the car has been on a slope that leans to the left ??? But if it parked on a normal gradient it starts O.K. Its been into the mechanics and they have flushed the fuel lines and injectors but it still has made no difference, they say it could also be the fuel rail, but are not certain. Could anyone please help. Thanks.
