Brakes problem
2003 Buick Rendezvous 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic 90000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
I own a 2003 Buick Rendezvous and there has been a scraping noise when I drive or make a turn and it does it sometime when i brake. I've checked the power stearing fluid and it has plenty. My boyfriend says it may be the brakes and that the pads or rotors need to be replaced. The car drives great but just wondering what the noise could be and how much is this going to cost? Is it possible for my boyfreind to put the pads on himself. This can be a very complicated car when it comes to repairs. It once took mechanics at one place 2hrs to replace a battery because they claimed they had a hard time getting to it. I hope its not that way with the brakes!!
it should not have taken 2 hours to put a battery in. trust me they are not that bad. as for the noise usually most places will inspect the brakes for free. but as for your boyfriend doing it, if he has never done it before i wouldnt advise him doing it.
