2002 Cadillac Deville gas gauge

Electrical problem
2002 Cadillac Deville 115500 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
My gas gauge has been messed up for a while now. It keeps up w/ gallons used and mpg. But always shows full. Any ideas?

you can either replace the pump combo unit at 1200 bucks or live with it till the pump goes out
