Electrical problem
2002 Buick Rendezvous 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic 136000 miles

When I turn on the turn signals the brake light on the side being signaled goes out and both tail light flash like the 4 way flashers are on. It doesn't always happen but once it starts it continues no matter what way I signal to turn. After the car has been shut off for a while the signals work normal until I apply the brake. I have tried to check the wireing for a short but most of it is concealed between the front and back. Any suggestions?
