2002 BMW 320 BLUE SMOKE

Engine Mechanical problem
2002 BMW 320 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 125000 miles

320d has just started using oil and blue smoking a lot. Has still got power and pulls well. Turbo feels like its working. Is it definately worn cylinder bores / piston rings, or could it be something else thats hopefully cheaper to repair. Thanks Adam
