Hi

I dont know if this is the right place to ask this question!! but i will ask anyway!!

I want to start a project of putting a V8 engine in my e46 328!! the engine and the gearbox will come from an E39 540 manual

the question are the ECU and harneses going to fit in my E46 from the E39??

dont worry abou other mods needed for this project i now want to know if all electrical will work in the car ??

Congratulations on taking on a big project! It seems the wiring issue might be something you have a lack of confidence with. The CAN BUS systems on those two cars is different enough to cause some issues, you have your work cut out for you.
