2000 Audi A6

I tried starting the car a few months ago. The battery drain and the car didn't start. (this car has been sitting for 1 year. I removed my battery because there was no electrical power to start the car or lights. The mechanic checked and the battery was fully charged. I reinstalled it but still no juice.
I heard that there is some cut off switch or code to get the electrical power connected again. Any ideas to get the connection again or what else to check?

Please advise.
