I live in Southern California and I am wondering what a fair estimate is for an alternator replacement when going to an independent dealer?

I repair cars in southern Ca. and I am an independent repair source for BMW autos. My estimate for the repairs would be about 2-3 hours for the alternator labor to replace and whatever the alternator sells for, shop the price online or over the phone with local suppliers. Keep in touch mate.
