1999 BMW 323 transmission

Transmission problem
1999 BMW 323 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 77500 miles

i was driving on highway all of a sudden my rpm went up no matter how i pressed the gas pedal my car does not go no where.Now my car still starts but when i put it on gear it does not run.

The 323 was notorious for bad automatic transmissions. Having a BMW knowledgeable technician check the transmission and for faults set in the EGS would be something to consider.
