Engine Mechanical problem
1998 Buick Century Two Wheel Drive Automatic 115000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
I have a Buick Century - great car - yesterday morning when I started it up it sputtered quite a bit but engaged and ran (although I thought it was a bit sluggish) - last night when I went to leave work it would not start - it would turn over but not engage - I thought maybe I had run the gas too far down (1/4 tank) so I put more gas in it from a gas can. It started and ran - very rough - some white smoke out the back and the RPMs did not get very high - any clue - thanks
Also check ALL the fuel injectors for a shorted injector, I just got done fighting with one with two bad injectors that had me pulling my hair out. I believe the correct resistance is about 3 ohms. Hope this helps.
