1998 BMW 740 Bonnet stuck

Engine problem
1998 BMW 740 4 cyl Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 100000 miles

The bonnet of my BMW is jammed shut. The release catch unlocks the right hand side catch but not the left. Do you have any tips for how I could release it. Sad

I cant even top up my screen wash until I can sort this out.

Hi there,

Try having someone hold a little pressure down on the sticking latch while you pull the release, sometimes this will spring the lock.
