Electrical problem
1995 Buick Riviera 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

i lost my power windows a month ago had them fixed.When the mechanic looked into the boot in the door 6 wires were broke.he wired all of the back together so i know have windows but no autcomatic locks,or dash lights so i ahve no idea how much gas is in the car or how fast i am going.But the radio does work. my heater also stay on and cant be turned off until this is fixed,(dont need the heat right now)all the fuses were checked and working the mechanic has no clue what is now causing this he also rechecked the wires and checked wires under the sterring wheeel.i cant afford to take my car to a dealer to have it checked,got a quote on it and was told it would cost anywhere from $900.00 to $2000.00 at a dealer. i know it has to be something easy,thanks for any help.

The only way to find out, is to scan the codes and see if any come up for body control or cluster...
