Electrical problem

Over the last month, the lock/alarm system has been acting up; it would start by automatically relocking me out of the doors after I've unlocked them and locking me out of the ignition. I developed tricks to get around it like entering through the passenger door. As I drove, the locks would go up and down on their own until I guess some part of that burned out. Now I can open the doors manually/ individually with out the alarm being set but I don't know how to open the fuel door, since it's tied into the automatic locking system.
I can live w/o the automatic locks/ alarm but I definitely need to open that fuel door w/o breaking it.
I should also not that i didn't see a fuse that corresponded with this system.
