Computer problem
1994 Buick Roadmaster V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 87000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
IS CONDITION;

ENGINE WILL NOT TURN OVER AFTER SUBJECTED TO A HIGH MOISTURE ENVIROMENT, IE CAR WASH OR PARKED IN RAINING CONDITION.

AFTER 25-30 STARTER CRANKS, ENGINE TURNS OVER.

CONDITION WILL NOT DUPLICATE UNTIL VEHICLE SUBJECTED TO IGNITION OFF/HIGH MOISTURE.

the first place i would look is the starter motor. while cranking check the purple wire at the starter for power. if there is power then the starter is bad.

FURTHER TROUBLE SHOOTING REVEALED THAT THE PRIMARY COIL WIRE LEAD AND THE COIL LEAD CONNECTOR WERE SEVERELY CORRODED.

REMOVED CORROSION AND RESIDUAL MOISTURE USING SCOTCH BRITE AND WD-40.

REASSEMBLED AND SPRAYED COIL AREA WITH WATER. PROCEEDED TO FIRE UP THE ENGINE.

NO RUNS, NO LEAKS, NO ERRORS. Mr. Green
