1994 BMW 318 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 145,00 miles

The alternator was just changed on my 1994 BMW. As I'm driving at times all my indicator lights come on and my speedmonitor, gas gages and etc. stop functioning. Durning this time my vehicle still runs and evertying works fine.

After a minuite the lights go off and then the gages start working again. Please advise. and it's it safe to continue to drive my car?

Sounds like a comfort relay is getting a spike or under voltage. Possibly will require a return trip to the mechanic that installed the alternator for further diagnosis.
