Heater problem

I am having problem with my heater. I can tell that the air is hot but the fan is not blowing it out. I checked the fuse and also changed it and it still doesn't work. Would it be the fan or sensor and where are either of these located? Is this something I can repair myself?

It can be difficult to get to the parts, but if you're patient and ready to remove part of the dashboard assembly, you can do it. What I would recommend is to get to the blower motor itself. It's under the passanger side of the dash near the glove box. Once you do that, you need to check and see if it's getting power when the switch is on. If it is, replace the motor. If not, I believe the blower motor resister is in the same area (of the motor). Check if you are getting power there. If so, replace the resister (most common problem and cheapest repair). If there is no power, mover on to the relay which is located under the hood on the passanger side of the firewall (near HVAC components). If there is power in but not out, replace the relay. If no power, move to the switch and do the same.

It sound rough but it's not as bad as it sounds. The only hard part is getting to the blower motor.
