Electrical problem

I have replaced the alternator, the belt and battery both check out. The voltage is ok when the car is first started but after a couple of miles the voltage starts to drop and will die at a red light. The battery is still good because the lights bells windows etc. still work but nothing when I try to start it. It takes a jump and will keep running unless you have to stop.

check the fat wire at the back of the alternator for power and also check all the fusible links
