Engine Mechanical problem
1988 Buick Regal 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 108000 miles

I have a 1988 buick Regal that i recently changed to a 1990 3.1 v6, and after installing the new engine, it will not start. I am getting plenty of spark, and there is fuel in the fuel rails, though when the plugs are removed, I do not see any fuel on them. The engine doesn't fire, or if it is, it's firing way out of order, but in any case it will not even begin to start. There is power at the injectors, but I don't know if they are getting the negative pulse from the ECM to actually inject fuel. Any ideas what to check next?
