1996 Buick Electra Turn signal flasher button

Electrical problem
1996 Buick Electra 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 130000 miles

I would like to replace the flasher with a faster one. I have purchased a electronic one in hopes that it will be faster and not put me to sleep waiting to turn... but don't know what is involved with its replacement.

You're sure it's a 1996 Buick Electra? I ask because Buick didn't make the Electra in 1996.

Last year that they made the Electra was 1990.

Oops... Although I have heard of a Park Avenue being referred to as an Electra... my car is indeed a 1996 Park Avenue Ultra. Sorry.
