Electrical problem
1995 Lincoln Mark VIII V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 120000 miles

I've not had this car on the road for about a year - parked in front of my house (deciding what to do with it). I've started occasionally, but it's been about 2 months. I hooked a battery and tried jumping it, but there is no sign of electrical activity at all. Previously, even though the battery was very low, connecting jumper cables would allow clock, radio, etc to come on. Can someone tell me what might cause this?
