Transmission problem
1995 Honda Civic 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 67000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
The clutch pedal goes all the way down but the cluthc does not engage. I can't engage the reverse or any other gear with the engine running.

Hi choriflay,

Thanks for the donation.

If the pedal is very soft like there is no pressure, check if there is any fluid in the reservoir.

If the fluid is ok, the master cylinder is faulty, the internal seals are leaking. Do a complete repair including the slave cylinder.

If the fluid is ok, and there is normal pressure at the pedal, the clutch is not releasing and needs to be repaired which requires the trans to be removed.

If you had parked the car for a long time, the dics could be stuck to the flywheel and you can try to get it unstuck.
