1995 Honda Civic 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 204400 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
My check engine light has been on for some time now, I finally decided to try and repair it, so I jumped out the code wire and it said my TDC sensor was bad, I checked it manually with a meter to be sure and it proved to be bad. I replaced the distributor the light went out for about 10 minutes, came back on, so I checked the codes again. It was the CYP sensor this time, which is also part of the distributor. I manually checked it with a meter and these results showed it to be good. It says it's No.1 Cylinder Position, but I changed the timing belt at 202000 and set it exactly on the timing mark on the pulley. (The check engine light was on before I changed the timing belt) I read to pull the back up fuse under the hood, which I found out wasn't there to begin with, so I put one in, turned the key on, back off removed the fuse, turned key back on, still the light was on. I also pulled the ECU fuse for safe measure. The car runs decent considering mileage, it fires up on the first try and idle is perfect. I'd like to figure this out because I'm guessing it's hurting my gas mileage. Thanks for any help.
