Transmission problem
1995 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic
I have a 1995 Ford Taurus with a 3.8L engine. My transmission fluid is leaking from where the engine and transmission come together. I have did an engine overhaul and changed the seals in the engine and transmission and it is still leaking transmission fluid. I even flushed out my transmission and blew air through to see if it was clogged up, but the pipping was clear. If it is still leaking fluid and I have done everything. WHAT COULD STILL BE THE PROBLEM? Oh yeah, I checked the convertor and it is not cracked. |

there's nothing else there,
you have the transmission case, you have the seal, and the converter.
If you have fluid coming from under the converter cover, the problem has to be with one of those 3. |

The transmission fluid spills over the seal in the transmission and will not return to radiotor cool down line. |

That could be from the fluid level being too low because of the leak, or there isn't enough pressure because of the leak. |
