Shakes or Wobbles problem
1995 Ford Explorer Four Wheel Drive Automatic 140000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
hi i just went in and had my front end looked at on my 95 ford explorer when i got new tires and they told me that my upper front ball joints were shot and they told me they could do it for $525 but thats $300 labor so i asked him if it was possible for me to do it myself and he said it was. So i was just wondering if it is going to be easy for someone who has never changed anything like that before to do or is it going to take alot of work to fix?

4 wheel drive always makes it funner to change the ball joints.

you will need a special tools to remove the old ones and install the new ones.

basically try a repair manual and sit down and do it.

you will be able too, just give yourself a few hours to do the first side till you get the hang of it.
