1995 Ford Explorer doesn't start

Engine Mechanical problem
1995 Ford Explorer 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

will the cam position sensor not allow fuel pump to run? where is the cam sensor located?

Hello,

No the Cam Sensor will not shut down the fuel pump...

Check the Fuel Pump Relay in the Power Distribution Box in the Engine Compartment.

Also check the Inertia Fuel Shut Off Switch locate behind the Passenger Kick Panel.
