Brakes problem
1995 Chevy Silverado V8 Four Wheel Drive Manual 150000 miles

I have a flat bed with spray equipment on this. I started last spring out with all kinds of power. Around august of last year I noticed the power dropping off drastically. Top speed was about 60 mph with an empty load, down hill, uphill it didn't matter. Not to long later everytime I turned the steering I could hear a moaning sound. Like low on power steering fluid. Checked the level and it was good. Started heading back to town and I was losing power like crazy. It felt like I was running with the e brake on, but wasn't. I replaced the power steering pump. thought maybe it was locking up that was why I was losing power. I got that put in and still having the same problem with the moaning pump and also having brake issues. I have a stiff peddle when engine is off and the peddle goes to the floor and can't turn steering wheel when engine is running. I scanned the abs system. It came up with a rf speed sensor bad. Replaced that. got rid of the code. Bled brakes. still nothing. Replaced BCM. Rebleed. Still the same issues. Stiff peddle, engine off: No peddle when engine running.

Any idea's?

Sounds like your truck has a hydrabooster power assist for the brakes, check the hoses from the pump, if they run to the power booster at the master cylinder, it's a hydraboost unit, and works off the power steering pump. Replace the hydraboost unit.
