Noises problem

I took my car in for an oil change on Friday. They changed the oil type to high-mileage oil. The oil and air filters were changed. I also had the serpentine belt changed. It drove fine Friday, Saturday, and part of Sunday. Engine started knocking all of the sudden. I went to pull over about a quarter of a mile down the road. When I slowed down, the car died. I was able to start it back up with no trouble. It continued knocking for about 60 miles without dying. Then the knocking stopped, but there is still a noticeable ticking sound. When I push on the gas, the car hesitates for a few seconds before accelerating. Please help
