Engine Mechanical problem
1995 Chevy Impala V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 72000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
1995 Chevy Impala SS 72K miles
Replaced water pump, Opti Spark
Car starts when cool, runs fine for a few minutes until warm then dies, Sometimes I can start it But it will run very rich like it is in WOT Mode Will not idle at all. Let it cool down and it starts fine once again.
Not sure what to look at? Oxygen Sensor, IAC Module, TPS Can any of these cause the engine to just shut off once it warms up?
It is driving me crazy
Thanks
Gary

I pulled the plugs on the O2 Sensors. Started the car it ran for 8 minutes then died. One thing I noticed was that both cooling fans are on from the moment I started the engine. I never noticed this before. is that normal until the PCM goes into full operation or is this an indicator. The Check engine light was on but when I tried to pull the codes I got no error codes. Any other suggestions.

Check the ECT and IAT, if you can read these as degree values, before you start it, they should be within 5 degrees...then use an ohm meter, when cold you should have 10,000 or higher, as it warms up, the resistance drops to 177 when warm. On both sensors. A bad tpr would probably stop you from starting the car, but you can give it a shot..The only fan that should run is the A/C condeser fan when the A/C is on...might want to check in the power distribution center for the fan relays.
