Air Conditioning problem
1995 Chevy Cavalier Two Wheel Drive Automatic
----------------------------------------------------------------
Hi,
I slightly hit my car bumper against the post and all of a sudden my AC stopped blowing cool air. I checked the AC level with Air Conditioner Pressure Gauge and refilled the Refrigerant. But the AC still did not have any cool air. I noticed that the fan infront of the Radiator did not run. What should I check for and how to fix this? Should the radiator fan be turned on when AC is on ? (I checked my other car and it turns on when I turn the AC on)
The Heater works still.
Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi rhall77,
Thank you for the reply.
Yes, it caused the slight damage to the front and it bent the hood. Which fuse/wire should I check. I wonder if there is any picture I can see to look for the fuses/wires?
I opened the fuse box on the side of the door and the fuse box under the hood. Under the hood it had one big fuse called A/C. I don't know if it was blown or not. Is this the right fuse and how do I check if it is still good?
Thank you much.

I checked the fuses under the hood and I saw 2 A/C fuses. one big 2-progg, green fuse and it is still good (lights lid). One gray 4-progg and I don't know how to check for this one. The air still blows but not cold air. How do I check to see if the gray 4-progg fuse is still good?
Thanks,
FC
