the coil has power, as well as the distributor and spark plugs. would a defective distributor prevent fuel from reaching the plugs in a vortech engine? when I turn it over the plugs aren't wet.... |

No, the distributor wouldn't cause the fuel pump not to work. Have you checked fuel pump pressure? Have you checked the fuel pump relay or if the pump to see if it is getting power? |

fuel pump is new, registers at least 55 psi at strader valve. there is every indication power is surging through the plugs, coil, and distributor. all the fuses work. I assume the relays are functioning because the fuel pressure reg. is allowing the fuel to reach the strader valve. What next? School me plz. |

If you have spark and fuel, it should run unless there is a timing problem or compression problem. Will the engine start with starting fluid? |

Usually that indicates a bad PCM (computer). However, I recommend checking wiring and connections.
THe odd part about this is you have spark to the plugs and it still won't start. |
