Engine Mechanical problem
1995 Buick Regal 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 110000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
The car has a new battery, and every morning I am having to jump start the car. Recently, while I was driving on a regular dry day the "low-trac" light came on, and the car stopped. Once, again I had to jumpstart it. The alternator wash checked, and I was told it was working fine.

Hi there,

I would ask yore auto electric shop to do a amp draw test on the charging system, the alt may have a faulty diode which will drain the battery over night, but still allow the alternator to show a reasonable charge rate.
