1995 BMW 740 IGNITION

1995 BMW 740 V8

MY 740I will not shut off !!! i put it in P(park) turned the key back and nothing! it stayed running and the key came out! it wont shut off help help!?!?!?

Sounds like you have a failed ignition tumbler. There is a black box under hood on the right side that has four Phillips head screws holding the cover on, remove them and in the approximate middle of the box there are two relays, one is white, it is the main relay, pull it and the car will stop running.
