My son owns a 1995 Integra......The hood will not open, he had trouble closing it the other day and a friend pushed some button?, near/on the latch...Does anyone have any ideas on how to open it?

does the hood latch stay in the raised position after pulling?
the hood latch's cable might be binding.
pull on the latch while someone pulls on the hood. spray the springs of the hood's lever with wd-40 or similar lubricant and hopefully you won't have to replace the cable.
the friend pushed the latch in while someone closed the hood
