Engine Mechanical problem
1994 Volvo 940 6 cyl Automatic

I am having trouble with my engine. I took it to work Wed. night and it worked fine, but Thurs. morning it would not start. The engine turns over but it will not fire. I have checked the fuel line and everything seems to be in order. I am thinking it could be the distributor or the timing belt. Any help is greatly appreciated. Also my parents were the original owner and I am the 2nd if that matters.
