Engine Cooling problem
1994 Other Saturn Models 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 285000 miles

I have a staurn SC2 with 285,000 miles. The cooling fan stopped working. I replaced the fan and the temp senor but it still will not work. The dash light comes one after five minutes of operation. What else could it be?

Even though you replaced the fan motor I would disconnect the connector and take two wires and go directly from the fan motor to the battery. If the fan spins, motor is good. Since you said you replaced the temp sensor, then I would check the fuse first. If the fuse is still good then I would check the fan relay.
There is a fuse – looks like number 6 in the UHJB. There is also the Cooling Fan Relay is in the Underhood Junction Block (UHJB) . The UHJB is located on the left inner fender in the engine compartment
