1994 Other Nissan Models 71,000 miles

Hi I have a 94 Nissan NX-R with approx 70,000 miles, recently my car failed to start and i had my car towed the the mechanic, when i got the car back they siad they check the fuel pump and spark plugs and all where fine, when they checked the engine compression they said it registered 30psi, intially they thought i needed a new engine but once they oiled it, they tested again and it showed 120psi, my mechanic said it runs ok but when i drive it now the standing revs seem to be exetremely low and nearly feels like the car is going to stall, does this seem ok?
