Electrical problem

I have a nissan patrol 4WD wagon.

Both reverse lights are not working. The globes are ok, i think it may be the switch.

I need to know the location of this switch, i have looked around the gear box, but still can't find it!!

you're right, the switch is located in the gear box or transaxle in FWD. Some models have the switch just besides the speedometer wire. Some needs the gear box to be opened. Re-check the fuse, bulbs, and wirings before going to the mechanic.
