1994 Other Mazda Models 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 150k+ miles

I have a 1994 Mazda Navajo. I have replaced a good many parts on the thing. I recently had it serviced because I couldn't get the engine light to go off and they replace catalytic converter and fuel pump. The engine light still came on. I took it back and they said they cleaned off the MAF. The engine light has gone off now, by repair or maybe they just unplugged it.

Now when I come to a stop it acts like it wants to die (it doesn't). It also overheats when I run my a/c in hot weather. Should I replace the MAF (and exactly where is it) or is there something else wrong with it.
