Engine Mechanical problem
1994 Other Isuzu Models 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 188000 miles

1994 Isuzu Pickup is running, but it idles like the engine is racing. No vacuum leaks evident in hosing,(including to the brake cylinder). I covered the secondary on the carb with my hand, and it idled down, but running rough and smoking heavy. It wouldn't die so it's getting air somewhere...What next? I'm stuck. Thanks
