Engine Performance problem

the truck has been driving fine untill i drove to texas where i first encountered a problemwith flooding.i filled up with gas and drove a few miles and the engine started missing like it was running out of gas.i found out it was water in the gas at my last fillup.i put gas treatment in to dry the water and drove back to louisiana with no trouble.then it started all over again.i filled up with good clean gas,but it will still stall or quit.it starts out with a strong odor of gas,then it stalls i have tried everything but no change.can anyone help me.
